Dakota Business Lending is pleased to welcome Preston Braathen to the team as Commercial Loan Officer. He will be in the forefront of lending operations for the Fargo/Moorhead region and beyond, working to develop and foster relationships with lenders, small businesses, economic development professionals, and other partners.
After living in Fargo, ND for the first 10 years of his life, it was only fitting that Preston returned to the area from Maple Grove, MN to attend the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks and attain a degree in Management.
While attending school, Preston was introduced to the banking/lending industry and began to learn the basics of consumer lending. It was through this experience that he found his passion for business lending. Preston now has a wide range of experience to bring to the table including knowledge in banking, lending, customer service, and consumer and commercial lending. He decided to join to the Dakota Business Lending team to take on the challenge of business lending and work towards assisting business owners with their financing needs. Preston enjoys spending time with his family, girlfriend, and friends at the lake.
